Criteria for retailers

The British Institute of Kitchen, Bedroom & Bathroom Installation works with a number of local, regional and national speciailst retailers of KBB product and installation service.

Retail Partnership is available to those retailers who share our objective of improving standards and the reputation of our part of the home improvement industry. First and foremost, its a collaboration of industry businesses, working together to improve all aspects of the KBB installation sector.

Our criteria is straightforward:

Installer Accreditation
It is a prerequisite that all installers that represent our retail partners (whether employed or sub-contracted) are accredited by The British Institute of Kitchen, Bedroom & Bathroom Installation (BiKBBI). All installers must meet our installer entry criteria and maintain membership throughout the partnership.

Annual Auditing
Our retail partners receive an annual audit to ensure they’re meeting their obligations to both the customers they serve and the installers they work with. The audit is there to ensure the retailer is providing the very best service, operationally, to those it engages.

Commitment to industry initiatives
BiKBBI relies on input from its retail partners to help it drive positive change. Whether it’s support on education or installation standards, retail partners must show commitment to improvement in order to maintain their status.
